It's not surprise that with a newborn (ahem... I guess she is technically an "infant" now?) at home that most days I am dog tired. Yes she is sleeping at night- not quite all the way through- the most she has done is 7 hours (the other night she only did 4 and I thought I WOULD DIE!) but that's OK she was early and I was told to expect her "sleeping through the night skills" to be delayed however early she was... so we still have a few weeks to get that down... if I survive it.
Nevertheless, there ARE a few things that are making this tired mama happy... and (I hope) making me look and feel better.
#1. Hollywood Glam Glow Mud Mask
Oh my goodness gracious have you guys heard about this!? It's amazing. Seriously. I went to Sephora the other day and asked for a sample (because who wants to spend over $60 on something that doesn't work?). I came home and Devin and I both did this mask. We were pleased with the immediate effects (although I told Devin that it was a tingly mask and he said it burned...) our skin felt great and exfoliated... the real effects were evident the next morning. Despite not getting a full nights rest my face looked amazing! Glowing and fresh. Even Devin said, "That mask! I love it!" So we know it's a keeper. If you haven't tried it... please do.
#2. Korres Greek Yoghurt Advanced Sleeping Facial
This little beauty was also given to me at Sephora as a sample. I have used Korres products in the past and have been pleased. I used the rose sleeping facial all through my pregnancy. But this little lovely makes you wake up with a nice dewy complexion. Who could ask for more? And in this dry heat? Moisture is always in style.
#3. NARS "The Multiple" In Copacabana
I purchased this right towards the end of my pregnancy and I was hesitant to use it because I loved my Josie Moran illuminator so much. This one? Game changer. It's so easy to just swipe on my lips, cheeks or eyes and call it good. It's got gorgeous color and I am just dying to get my hands on these in more colors!
#4. Boscia BB Cream
I honestly bought this on a whim on a quick run to Sephora right after Charlotte was born (one of my first outings!). It was in those "BUY ME PLEASE!" bins that Sephora has right at the check out. I thought to myself, "Why not? If nothing else it will be a great moisturizer." Guys... I wear this everyday. Every.Single.Day. Whether I do a full face or just this and blush and mascara (which I do most days now). My mom even asked me what kind of foundation I was using these days. No foundation people. BB cream is where it's at.
#5. Bumble and Bumble surf spray
So, I have really fine hair. And really straight hair. These day's I have been using this baby (along with their surf shampoo and conditioner)- just spritzing it on after the shower, throwing my hair in a brain or in a bun, and by the time my hair is dry I have awesome beachy wavy hair.
If you guys have any products you can't live without by all means SHARE! I love trying new things. I am a self proclaimed product junkie... and I am ok with that.
