Wedding Crashers...

(my wedding crasher outfit)

 Actually...we didn't crash the wedding...we were invited I promise...
But that doesn't mean we couldn't help but quote it the entire night
Especially since we were pretty sure the chick sitting behind me was crashing
{or rather one of the groom's friends dug up a date at the last minute}

(how cute is my hubs!?)

Other than crazy girl the wedding was fabulous. It was held at the Casa Real winery in Pleasanton. It was by far the nicest wedding either of us had ever been to. Husband held my hand and squeezed it at all the appropriate moments (and he wispered "I love you" at regular intervals).

(I know this picture is blurry but I love Heather's face! Pure joy!!!)

The groom had his air force buddies dress in their mess dress and they handed out the programs and escorted the ladies to our seats (I got a big kick out of that one). It was so cute I couldn't even handle it.

(oh those crazy airforce men... I love it when they get all serious)

You could tell how happy Heather and Brady were (and are!) and their wedding was about joining them together and their families. We had a blast. They had us do this thing called "the grand march". Has anyone ever heard of it? I hadn't. We blame it on Brady being from Texas... but it was a lot of fun... even Devin joined in on the "dance" (it was mostly just a shuffle).
Earlier that day we went to the Oakland temple. It was our 4th California temple and our 7th as a couple. It was gorgeous and definitely the perfect way to start our day off.

This weekend we also went back to San Francisco. Now... I was not a huge fan of San Fran the first 2 times (the first time I went was for my job). I liked it well enough... but I think San Diego is the Cali city for me... but alas husband wanted to go back. And I am so glad we did! We decided to bike the Golden Gate Bridge. It was one of the best things we have done and by far the best thing we did in San Francisco.

We biked all down Fisherman's Wharf, past the water front, through a park (or 2), and up and on the Golden Gate. It was fabulous! At the end we biked up this HUGE hill to see the gorgeous views. It was worth the time, effort, and money we spent. It look us about 2 hours round trip.

I love weekends like this. Where husband and I can get away for a few days and enjoy new places and new things together. This weekend we made a list of all of our past adventures...  and I can't wait for all the new memories this year will bring!

Happy Monday!
{Fear not It's OK's will be here tomorrow}

Love your blog! I check it every day and just realized I haven't technically been "following" you. Of course, now I am :)
